More about my journey

My journey into the world of entertainment began with the whir of my dad's old VHS camera. Growing up in the early 2000s, my dad made it a point to capture every significant moment of my growing up. We still have the hours and hours of footage, and on every rewatch I'm reminded of memories I forgot were even there anymore. And while they weren't works of art, those grainy home videos sparked my fascination with visual storytelling.

This fascination led me to Ithaca College, where I majored in screenwriting. There, I honed my skills by learning to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences. But that wasn't enough for me, so I pursued a minor in Marketing Communications as well, bridging the gap between storytelling and promotion.

Outside the classroom, I took every hands-on learning opportunity I could get, networking with peers and even starting projects of my own. To that point, I learned early on that it's not about what you know, but who you know, and let's just say I wanted to know everyone making something cool. That's how I landed jobs on countless film sets working everything from Script Supervisor to DP. Some of my most fond college memories come from the people I met and the art we made together.

Once things started getting back to normal after the pandemic, I noticed Ithaca needed a better way to spread the word about local happenings. So I took it as the perfect chance to dive into social media marketing, and Party Ithaca was born. I grew the account by targeting the immediate college community and after two years of running it by myself, I ended up selling to Involved Entertainment. 

While in Los Angeles for six months, I linked up with music video director Rook, who brought me on board to document one of his artists during their studio sessions, capturing the raw energy of the creative process. 

But my work with Hidden Ithaca in event production and promotion stands high above the rest. Planning and executing not one, not two, but three concerts allowed me to highlight my favorite local music to create unforgettable live experiences. From pitching to artists to developing targeted social media campaigns, I've learned to amplify voices not just through screens, but live on stage face-to-face with the fans.

Today, I stand at the intersection of narrative and melody, boasting a unique blend of skills in storytelling, marketing, and production. Whether I'm crafting a script, curating social media content, or coordinating a concert, my goal remains the same: to tell stories that move people, create experiences that resonate, and amplify the voices of artists in an ever-evolving digital world.
